Located on the Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences Campus, Askozia®PBX originally started out as a proof-of-concept research project. As interest grew and development continued, more time was dedicated towards the project. It has now become a full-time job for two staff members.

Askozia is currently in the process of spinning-off from parent company IKT. This process involves the continued successful commercialization of the Askozia®PBX Open Source project. We are now able to offer additional commercial services as the needs of users and cooperation partners have been better understood.
