Known Issues
Every software project has bugs. Here is your one stop to finding out if any known issues in the software will affect your integration project.
Starting with release 2.0.3, we are now testing each platform image with a greatly expanded case set (~150 test cases). One of the Askozia staff members invests more than two days testing each case on each image and a report is prepared. The following list is a summary of the open issues in each release with known workarounds and expected fix dates/releases listed when possible.
If you are being affected by a bug not yet described here, please post it in the bug tracker.
General
- Upgrading directly from 1.0.x to 2.0.x is not possible.
- Downgrading from any developer snapshot after r1701 to 2.0.x will result in lost application logic due to the new XML format used in the upcoming 2.1 series.
- The Japanese and Chinese localizations do not yet work in the 2.0.x releases.
- 2.0.2 - missed call notifications are broken, fixed in 2.0.3
- 2.0.2 - call transfers broken on incoming calls from providers, fixed in 2.0.3
ISDN
These problems can only be resolved in the upcoming 2.1 release as they stem from Askozia taking advantage of unofficially supported features in 2.0's underlying software packages. Askozia 2.1 will be based on updated package versions where these features are more robust.
- 2.0.x - ISDN Phones are unstable. They cannot reliably be used at this time due to high CPU usage as well as signaling and state inconsistencies (e.g. signals busy when not, unreachable after reboot until a brief off-hook).
- 2.0.x - Using echo cancellation on ISDN ports results in high CPU usage which can potentially destabilize an entire system. Disable echo cancellation on all ISDN ports and this problem disappears.
Deciso General
- 2.0.x - When carrying out more than 40 concurrent SIP-SIP calls, the Asterisk process segmentation faults instead of failing gracefully.
Auerswald COMpact 3000 VoIP
- 2.0.x - Localizations do not switch and display correctly.
